Jammin' on the Porch
Concert Series

Another enjoyable and free event is our Summer Concert series of “Jammin’ on the Porch” held on 9 acres of rolling hills, arboretum, gardens, and a stunning 1868 Italianate Estate, named Orchard Lawn. Our Friday evening outdoor concerts happens on the 2nd Friday of June- September and starts at 6pm and ends at 8ish. Plenty of time to attend another fun event in Mineral Point. It’s a perfect way to end a busy workweek and slide into the weekend. Bring family and friends, a blanket or lawn chairs, a cooler stocked with your favorite bites and refreshments. We will also have local vendors on-site to provide food and beverages. We have had dancing and even a marriage proposal! This event is truly magical event for your entire family!

Our bands have kindly agreed to take time out of their busy schedules to play at Orchard Lawn and play for your tips. We pass a container during intermission to thank our bands for their service to the Mineral Point community. We also have a big red bucket on our MPHS table and kindly accept donations to continue our Mineral Point Historical Society’s mission of preserving history for generations to come.
